Anyone tried StumbleUpon Advertising?

Anyone had any success with them before? Their rates seems kinda high ($0.05/Impression)..... cause that's basically what it is; an impression.

    Any input here?

    Thanks!

But StumbleUpon has a nofollow attribute.

I never used them but I could answer you about the impressions. The impression is the time you advertising, mostly banners, appears. If your banner got 50 views then count as 50 impressions. It would be a useless metric anyway. I could open a page with your banner and press F5 for 50 times to get your banner got 50 impressions.

However, they (stumbleupon) may have a protection by filter duplication IP address from being counted fake impressions. (Just assumption :))

Yeah true... though I guess it's better than a banner impression as the user is requesting they view a site & they are viewing the whole site of yours, rather than just a banner. Difference is though they aren't exactly CHOOSING to visit your site, the site MAY just interest them.

The thing about Stumbleupon is the after-effect.
If your ad campaign performs well, it will continue to bring in "free stumbles" even after your ad campaign ends. That's the beauty of Stumbleupon

Stumbleupon would only be good as an additional advertising source and should not be used on it's own. Better to find something else I think.

Not many people here buy advertising. if they do, it's not very often enough to get effect feedback.

I've never tried it. I've only done the typical stumbling, which has been a great source of traffic.
