Anyone tried Google adwords CPA for a web directory?

Did you mean drive a traffics to your web directory and convince people do paid submission on it? I do not think it is worth enough. I had experienced this before and I could say a really nightmare for conversion ratio.

I would recommend you do promote via directory portal. ie. Directory Critic. You could get better results compared to PPC.
