Amazon Grocery is pretty new... have any of you tried promoting it? Customers get the free shipping for orders over $25. I'd like to know if I get credited every time they order from amazon grocery, even if they only clicked through my link their first time. That could add up if I catch a hungry family!!
I'm not sure about Amazon Grocery, but their regular affiliate program wouldn't give you repeat purchases - only the first one, so I wouldn't count on getting profits from future sales.
Ellen, I've added some items to a site with a theme that fit but I've not sold a single one so far. It seems to me that you'd really need the right niche to attract online non-specialty (chocolate = specialty) food customers. As kajsng said, unless the cookie was still live I doubt you'd get any repeat credit.
That's surprising. I figure on a recipe site; it'd rock. Find a way to make the user an ingredient list; then automatically add those items to their amazon grocery cart for checkout. Seems like its a naturally high conversion rate.
