Anyone think adwords hurts your SERPS?

Anyone think advertising on Google, gets you lower rankings for the keywords you purchase on adwords?

 

Nah. i rank #1 on tons of keywords and I still buy adwords for those same words.

 

hey, yea. but I have my suspicions. Like, are the page urls in the serps exactly the same as the ones you use on adwords? Or do you link to inner pages on adwords, and your homepage is the one ranked in the serps

 

yep same url as appear in the serps. I don't bid on adwords for "homepage" words only words where people might buy something.

 

Well, after 1yr of not registering in Google serps for our main keywords...while being number #1 on Yahoo, we shut down our adwords...and now for the first time, we are in the top 250 on Google for this keyword. And that happened the day after we turned off adwords. Interesting.

Also, ironically I am on a tablemate II right now...use it on the couch with me laptop. Good stuff.

 

Its an awesome thing isn't it? I bought 2 off ebay a few months back. I love it. When I had the chance to carry it, I jumped on it. I knew I wouldn't get a lot back. Unlike other "As seen on tv" items
