    I'm using the free version of Tweetattacks, which does the job nicely at increasing followers. The full version can make automated tweets too.

    Free - twiends and tweet attack

    Paid - tweet adder and social oomph


    Tweet attack's free version has auto follow and unfollow
    Social oomph does not have auto unfollow because it is against twitter rules

    Tweet attack (paid version) is the only one that has a 'wait and see' feature that will auto tweet when it finds a keyword used in any tweet (follower or not) <-- overuse this and you'll be suspended very quickly

    I use tweet adder every day 24/7 (on an old spare computer) to slowly and safely build followers with
    1. auto follow via search
    2. auto unfollow if they do not follow back in 3 days
    3. send auto DM's
