Even Windows Vista exists now a while, I don't wanna have it. I'm almost convinced, I will get some problems with it. (drivers, some software, ...) Specially with the cheapest versions. Some people told me, it's just like windows 2003, but with a better look. And also I've heard much people complaining about it. So I will use XP as long as I can. Jason
Yeah, at least so far I think that Vista is just a bit too weird and slow. Maybe after they work all the bugs out on it i'll upgrade - I'll probably wait until june when i get my laptop.
I've only ever used XP and am aiming to be one of the last people to switch to Vista (next time I buy a PC).
I'm still on XP and don't plan to change. I've heard a lot of negative feedback--including the posts in this thread--about Vista.
My wife got XP, and I have watched her misery. Can't print to one of our printers, won't burn discs due to some litescribe conflict. I have XP and have felt guilty that she doesn't. I just installed Ubuntu/linux one an old computer I will use for other tasks.
I still use XP and still feel that its better then Vista. Even some of my friends want to get rid of vista.
I run XP via bootcamp on my imac and on my macbook pro.. and I honestly have to desire to switch to Vista. I think I'm more likely to take the jump to OSX leopard than a new MS operating system.
I would never have thought I would say this but, I will never go back to xp! It's vista x64 all the way. Although at the start it did annoy me, given the fact that there were no drivers for the majority of software!
IMHO XP is a more mature product than Vista, given XP has been on the market for so long and has so many patches and fixed. For this reason I am still using XP. I will hold on as long as possible with upgrading to Vista to avoid the early adopters problems, where you are the one experiencing new bugs and have to report it to Microsoft.
