    Craigslist is one big spam magnet yet very powerful. I have never succeeded in getting my legit ads to stick while I just see spammers walking their way through it. lol

    Craigslist is a good tool to advertise your business to your local area.. You can use Skype and create unlimited verified accounts, but there are other methods to market to your target audience which are less time consuming and as effective.

    As far as gaining a national exposure for an affiliate site I've not had any success. However, selling things locally has worked real well for me, which has made me rethink my business model. Somewhat, but also most Craigslist traffic can be summarized as being less than quality.

    I use craigslist for personal stuff most of the time, not for biz. It's great place to buy/sell used stuff. I work for iValueHost, it's an online biz, so we don't actually advertise or try to get local clients that much
