Anyone still use AltaVista?

Does anyone still use this good old search engine?

I used to use altavista. Now I prefer blekko because it is slashtag search engine you can find anything by just add / E.g wedding planner/india you got list of sites which has just related results.

 

I think only few of the peoples use alta vista.

 

if i got bad search results in google then only i try with other search engines ( rarely )

 

Altavista was once a popular search engine in 1995. It was then powered by Yahoo. It lost its popularity by the raise of Google. Altavista provies Yahoo results. No use in searching it. Yahoo has planned to drop Altavista.

 

Ya sometimes i am using it but mostly i am preferring to use google.

 

I always use Google.

 

Never have, never will. No real need.

 

No Point of using alta vista, But I see some of my traffic coming from it, God knows who the hell in this world is using it still.

 

Sometimes I still use them in finding a picture on google and yahoo if incomplete

 

i use it here and then but not an avid user. alexa is at times interesting to me not this one

I dont think so anybody use alta vista.

 

It has become something of the past now, with all the other Search Engines that have come on and about. But still I see that many people are loyal and still use it.

 

Although it used to be a pretty decent search engine but due to the fact that it did not keep up with the existing updates and demands from the users it kind of lost its way and now Google is the giant that all of us see in the internet searching business.

 

I never used Alta Vista because it has been old and there are many new Browsers.
