Anyone share experience with Posting article in Wikipedia?

    Hi
    I see that posting new article/page on new topic (eg. niche topic) in Wikipedia requires few steps. Are they rigorous and do you have to be Wikipedia editor to have better chance of making article stay/stick?
    Any Wikipedia posters care to share their experience?
