Earnings have been about 50-60% lower for the last week or so. I've been using Adsense for less than a year so don't know if this is seasonal or related to my particular niche. I know, I know, Adsense earnings fluctuate, you don't need to lecture me on that. I was wondering if any veterans can shed some light on this particular time of year. See any patterns?
I've seen the opposite here. Good post-Christmas CTR has had a good effect on post-Christmas CPM. Sorry.
This will depend on what your sites are about. Some of our markets are slow right now while a few other are red hot.
My site was slow during the summer months, then November was the best month ever. December has been so-so, but this last week has got me worried. The site has to do with automobiles so maybe car makers aren't spending too heavily end of year.
Auto... hmm... I think most people buy autos in the spring and it's Aug./Sept. when dealers get their new shipments and probably when ppl will be looking for the best deals. My 2 cents.
It really depends on the type of site you have. If you have an ecommerce site, a drop after the holidays is pretty normal. Most of my sites have seen a big jump - but they were the type of sites weren't used for gift giving and which had decreased during the holiday's.
The opposite here. Mine increased over pre-Chrismas levels. But I'm not selling Furbies and iPods, or Christmas decorations.
My income has decreased by 50% after Christmas. Still same amount of page impressions and clicks but CPM is down to 0.30 ...the lowest i've ever seen it for me. I hope it gets back up in January. Anyone else experience less income after christmas????
My revenue was about the same after Christmas. Had a serious drop on the 31st though. I just hope it recovers once all those people recover from their hangovers
Yep... AdSense income down by almost 40% although CTR% at an all time high. hmmmm... Think I'll give things another week or so to normalize.
Man... there is almost no one browsing the web this morning. I should have scheduled some maintenance.
