What is the sites url? What are the keywords? What is the age of the site? What have you changed on the site in the last few months? Without that info, you are only asking for the vaguest of guesses, and 99% of those will be wrong.
That's common on rankings, they drop and suddenly rised. Just continue your link building for your site... And btw, be sure to check if your keywords are competitive enough...
