Looking for something half decent for under 300 quid really. I use laptop for professional packages for college work, mainly adobe stuff like illustrator, photoshop, flash and dreamweaver. I know people may say you need quad core and 4+ gig ram. I do have a half decent desktop my main work, but my current laptop is a free one i got with a phone around 3 years ago with only one gig of ram, and ive been running CS3 on it perfectly well. Ive just got my hands on CS5, and also my laptop is dying now with bits falling off and slow at times - for the record it is an ASUS and i fully recommend one of them, had a few laptops and this free one has caused the least problems, in fact none! Anyway.....

I see some in argos sales with 3g ram, and other things in it for around 250 and that sounds good to me.

Anyone give any pointers, or anyone bought a cheaper one and recommend them? or seen any good bargains at the minute? Looking to buy it this week.

    Thanks in advance

Asus P52JC-SO054D is a great laptop. It has 4 gigs of ram, a 7200 hard drive, dedicated nvidia card with one gig and a intel dual core proc. It costs around 450 euros.
