do you think its rigged? think about it.. rig the cards so more money gets thrown into the pot... equals more rake for the sites.... some sites offer no rakeback... i wonder why... and before anyone says anything i do play online poker for money and im kind of 50/50 on the issue i don't know what to think anymore, one hand i get pocket kings just for someone to have pocket aces, or my trips getting beat by higher trips, i've even had quads smashed by higher quads a couple times. Is this even normally plausible in normal circumstances? im sure anything is possible but some of hte hands you lose to online just have to be too strange. btw i have a forum about talks like this if anyone is interested i just want to know if any DP's play poker, Infact i was thinking about it as a career choice before i started any online work. Heh i don't think i could handle the stress in that work enviorment
No, it's not rigged. If it were, they'd lose players and have nothing. And if you're a real poker player, play in the real world.
well online poker is convinient and how would they lose players? they would never know if they were getting jipped anyway.
The sites that are registered in the United Kingdom (where online poker is legal) are regulated. Their software is thoroughly checked to make sure the odds are as random as a computer program can make them.
I play online poker , and offline. killafawk i now where your going with the riged part but think of it this way you only think its riged when you lose, when you win do you even think its riged then?
I've tried online poker, I just couldn't get into it. I kept on losing.. awww I suck at poker, and cards in general.
Saw one of my past employers playing OnlinePoker when he does not have any work to do and he used to earn money doing that. Cheers,
Poker has done a good job of selling, they have winners that were online then went and won at tournaments. Very real I think. Cheers
Generally speaking people play a lot more hands when they play online poker than they do when playing in real life. The more hands that you play the greater the probability of unusual hands coming up...so you should feel that something is different when you play online poker but it's more likely that it is just an illusion because of the greater frequencies of hands dealt.
Not rigged. IRL = play less hands, you still see bad beats. Online = play A LOT more hands and you still X times amount more bad beats. It's not rigged you just play a lot more hands and are open to seeing a lot more shit.
I don't think it's rigged :/ or at least the site I play in isn't rigged. :/ but yeah, just play in the real world. xD it's better
they make so much money off of it anyways, theres no reason to risk rigging it and getting shut down.
I don't think it's rigged...but when my pocket aces get cracked by a8 off suit...then you might hear me yelling a bit. But truthfully...I think online poker is more for fun than real life poker. I mean...it's to be expected that people call more hands in online poker especially if you are playing lower stakes. If you are playing .02/.04 Texas Holdem of course you are going to get more callers than if you were at a real casino or poker room playing with stakes that instead of pennies are dollars. Plus you have to take in the fact that online its just a number...when you are at a real casino you have to physically put the chips out there (in most casinos) so you watch yourself giving away money and might not be so apt to call with crap cards. I consider myself a pretty good poker player and I even catch myself at times calling with junk cards when I know I shouldn't or calling when I need runner runner to give me anything just because its only a quarter. But as with everyone....this is just my opinion
