The title says it all.....do any of you pay for traffic....besides PPC I mean. The reason i am asking is because I just tryed itr and it's not working out as well as I thought. This service is known as revisitors.com and they offer redirected traffic, that is supposedly very well targeted. My Question is has anyone had any experience with this specific program. I just bought a campaign for 10,000 visitors and it isn't going to well. I think I may have been scammed. I get like 300 a day and I have a squeeze page setup to make the most of it. The only problem is the people don't stay for more than 5 seconds. I'm not exagerating that. I use statcounter and the majority says the length is less than 5 seconds. I know my squeeze page is amazing, but I know it would attract a reader for more than 5 seconds....... Alright, before I go on & on & on, I will just ask you guys if you have had any experience and whether or not you suggest paying for traffic to your website? If this continues.....9,000 out of the 10,000 campaign still left (2- uncomfirmed sign ups), I won't ever buy traffic again. Your thoughts.
Didn't work for me either. Out of 15,000 vistors I only got four new members sign up for my forum.....AND THEY WERE ALL SPAMMERS I HAD TO DELETE.
Hi, PPC offers almost the most targeted traffic. I am not sure where these hits you bought are coming from ie the source. If it is targeted like what you said, then there should at least be some form of conversions. Frankly, when I started out, I also bought packages like this 10,000 visitors for $39 and so on but after a while, I knew that these are really poor quality traffic and in some cases, they are all figures cooked up by "bots" and not real human traffic. Another way to drive traffic that is paid is to: 1. Buy articles from writers and do article marketing 2. Paying for social bookmarking services. and so on. I have detailed some really powerful techniques both free and paid to drive traffic in my free report.
Cappers_Insight, So you tryed revisitors too? I mean I thought it sounded great, but the results are garbage. Out of 1,000 people not 1 confirmed signup. I'd put the URL to my squeeze page for you guys to check out, but I just joined and I don't want to be seen as a spammer. Like I said, I am not copy writing professional, but I know it is good for a 1% reader rate. I mean 1,000 people staying less than 5 seconds....to me that trash. I wonder If I could get a refund.
Hi, I don't normally register to post, but this one caught me. I bought 5000 hits from them and found very little activity. I thought people must not be hanging round long enough to do anything, so I put some tempting offers up and wrote a javascript to regulary request an image from my server every few seconds. To my surprise, my page was displayed from 10 minutes to 3 hours before the browser window was closed? Does this sound like a popunder with the user not even aware of my page? Anyway, I did get a few real browsers (about 10) making it more expensive than Adwords. I also registered as a Revisitors affiliate, but as I'm not recommending them I don't think I'll get rich too quick! I also blogged it here: http://www.ammtek.com/domain_names.html
Free traffic is the best traffic. I have not personally payed for traffic, unless you count expenses such as press release distributions.
Really, don't waste cash on ads and stuff like that, just do free submittions, there are many auto-submit bots around. (Be sure to give a fake email, they will spam you with all the reports). If this still gets you nowhere, than maybe ads are worth considering.
Yes I have purchased traffic in the forum of paid advertising. This involves paying money in exchange for showing your ad on other sites. I have also done PPC. I would recommend both of these, but don't bother with things that say you will get 10,000 unqiues for $9.99 as they are a total waste of money. If they were not, then there wouldn't be so many sites on the web that never get over 1,000 unique visitors a day on average.
Hi Folks just a quick Tip the only way to get instant traffic through PPC is through Big G,(Google) MSN or Yahoo. I would not advise anyone to purchase Traffic other than through the biggies. PPC is hard enough as it is through these without buying from people selling promises. Also make sure that you swot up on how to do add campaigns for each as they all have their own pecularities and ToS. Paule
Do not even bother with trying to force traffic to your site by paying for it. You will end up frustrated and broke. Time+Content+Natural Links is the only way to be in it for the long run.
free traffic is the best, sometimes if you have a very good product, maybe can try PPC, otherwise is waste money
I have one traffic provider that I use for FREE to Join programs. Outstanding results. I've used these guys for three years. I submitted an order to them for 50 sign ups ($20.00) The day after they sent me the e-mail that my traffic was to start I had 40 fo the 50 sign ups the following day. Of course it all depends on the program..These are ligit. sign-ups..Not the onces that right back later and say take me off your list. They do a good job and are responsive. I use some of these free to sign up programs to help build my downline. It has worked great for me. My current downline is over 10,000 by using this type of system. The other thing I am looking at doing to generate more trafic is starting my own traffic exchange. If you get the right program they are low maintenance and high yeild for downline building. Not only do you build your dowline you can mail the entire membership with your ads. Of course I use linking too but for the fast starts this approach works for me. If you would like to know who the free sign up people are PM me.
The "10,000" type of visitors traffic that I have ever paid for has been a total waste of money. I think the ones I used were tied into traffic exchanges which, in my opinion, are a waste of time.
I've paid for traffic and enjoyed mixed results, but most of my conversions come from the free links.
