Anyone passed the Quiz at Zeal?

I passed it, and honestly not on the first time. Taking time to fully read the question AND the minute differences in some of the possible answers.

However, I find the site difficult to navigate, impossible to get a site in and hence, I've been there like twice in two years ....

 

Open a new browser window each time you fail. The old test/answers will be just a page away......there are only so many variations, you should be able to "pass" in about an hour.

Once you do pass you'll find out how much of a waste of time it actually was.

 

yeah got a 95% passed i didnt had the zealot quizz tho... Anyway i dont need it im a designer not a moderator

I did, but after finished I found they only accept for site that not commercial for free, otherwise have to paid. However, it's a good directory for me.

 

You know guys, there is actually a very extensive sets of rules for Zeal. Reading those and understanding their meaning helps alot getting pass the test.

Also, these rules are great to keep in mind when suggesting sites for other directories as well. I certainly don't find passing the test at Zeal (second shot, no cheating) something bad. It just requires some patience and motivation.

 

I just signed up at Zeal and wrote the test without reading their guidelines. I figured it would be relatively strict. I just approached the questions the same way I approach any request to exchange listing on my websites.

The only time I messed up was leaving "The" at the start of titles, instead of moving them to kach for alphabetization.

Passed with a 90%.

 

I passed the quiz, but looking back I think I could have made better use of that time by studying chinese. I think I submitted 4 sites.

 

I passed the quiz with the score %95 but have no idea what will i do from now on..

 

My site was submitted and approved in 10 days back in December but I haven't seem any traffic coming from the Zeal directory to this day. I think it's a respected and strong PR8 backlink to have, though.

 

if you will look at the question and repeat the quiz, some of the previous question are repeated so basically you just need to be a keen observer

But my site is yet to be listed

 

Kinda a moot point now as Zeal is shutting down ...

 

i took the quiz earlier first time... and poof! i got below 20... haha...

 

I took it, passed first time, but I have a fair bit of experience running directories. If anyone needs help let me know. I havent used Zeal since passing.

lol .. Its takes me almost an hour to write the answers and finally passed the exam.

 

wasted time, site is closed. I can't believe looksmart have chosen furl.net over zeal.com ???? Not so smart afterall.
