Are you going to Vote for Earth this Saturday at 8:30pm? For me, yes. You're just going to show support by switching off your lights for one hour.

Sake7, it's just a way for people to show support and spread awareness on environmental issues. One hour won't hurt would it? :)

I am supporting this and not only switching off my lights but everything else what is the point of just switching off lights when one is still watching TV in the dark.

Good point there Kim-Webgirl! I'm also switching off everything. For other people who can't (or will not), switching of the lights is a first step.

I am going to take part by doing what Kim-Webgirl said. I am going to turn everything of in my house and I am going to unplug everything from the outlets. Up until a few weeks ago I could care less about the environment and this sort of thing. But all the talk about saving the planet and saving money has kinda pulled me in. I now have gone as building my own solar panels for my house and I stopped using plastic bags when I shop. I am even going to start using the earth to grow my own garden. I am planning on growing my own vegetables and herbs. I recommend that everyone consider doing the same. At least buy some reusable bags for shopping and stop using plastic ones. If you folks want some links for more info. I have got some really good one's. Just p.m. me.

If you want to save power then take all those heavy traffic websites down that run on thousands of servers.
