I've been tracking the fall in CTR on my web site since the clickarea update. Though its still too early to to say, the findings are weird. I track 10 different sections of my web site, the CTR has fallen about 10-20% on most. But on two particular sections the CTR is down from 2% to almost 0.5% (and this is what starts ringing the warning bells). On deeper probing I realized *correct* (contextual) ads were not being displayed and hence the drastic fall in CTR. Has anyone noticed this? By the way, one section (just one) still shows the old ads with the entire click area.
Yes i also noticed that. For the entire of ad block, only 2 ads are showing. Anyway yesterday only my earnings were increased. Last week my earnings decreased to very very less.
