Anyone noticed changes in backlinks in site explorer

    Few days ago i saw a sudden dip in the number of backlinks reported by yahoo site explorer for nearly 20 sites that i check regularly. Has anybody seen this dip in the number of backlinks.

    I hope yahoo is not going in the footsteps of google when it comes to showing backlinks.

    Me 2. But I thought it was just happening to me. I also lost about 30 backlinks. Or maybe it is just a coincidence. We need more opinions.

    That's odd, my backlinks went up. I've been getting more backlinks in the last couple of months. Have you guys not been doing the same?

    i have seen some websites had a dip of nearly 300,000 links in a week.

    yahoo showing where the link really indexed careless whether it is follow or no follow,this what make yahoo different from Google and I dont think they will follow to lead to be like "google does when they are "YAHOO

    I think what yahoo is showing is the number of domains linking. Site-wide links might be showed as one link. This is what i can guess from the backlinks that i have seen in site explorer.

    I hope they just changed something in the way they count links I had a dip like most of you and was a bit shocked and disappointed.
