I think the spyware clones lost maybe a couple of the top 10 spots, because I don't remember anything else being in there last time I looked. But still, you'd think they'd get rid of at least some of them and not show 10 subdomains of one site as the results. There's another keyword set I watch where a bunch of duplicate spam sites are gone for "widgets" but still there for "blue widgets" and all the little variants. The difference is that those aren't all subdomains of one site, but again the results just don't seem to be consistent.

Yes. I've had top three rankings with six key phrases for the past 4+ months straight. Today, they've all dropped somewhere between page 2 and page 5, with one nowhere to be found.

More targeted but less popular phrases have been nudged but not a whole lot. I'd say +/- 5 slots for most of them.

I was dominating MSN. Hopefully this is a glitch. If not...back to the drawing board...at least somewhat.

I say glitch because I saw some VERY strange results with some searches. I do some work for a couple of small clients and after I saw my strange results, I checked their sites for a few phrases. I found two different searches that came up with approximately 20+ straight serps with the same company listed (i.e. different pages from the same site listed 20+ times in a row starting at #1). I found another search that #1-5 was the same company and #6-11 was the same company. Horrible search quality.

My six top-three rankings have all dropped off page one. I'm listed in DMOZ and I didn't notice any change in listing or desription. Being in DMOZ didn't help my rankings at all.

My ratings went way up for my KW's. also I'm not listed in DMOZ

Maybe they're testing a new algo?

Well I wish they would stop testing it!

The site I am working for has dropped 14 pages!

I am DMOZ listed too so that makes no diffrence at all.

My three personal sites though have not moved they are still rank top.

I have found my results have already improved again, if I use the search box that is on my MSN email account. But is still really bad if I use the MSN main search page.

Thats a bit strange in it.

I had a couple keywords sending 10k/mo traffic drop me back to the 2nd page. I had #1 and #2 listings for the last few months. Sucks.

My traffic yesterday dropped 70% after the change. My adsense was practically non-existant.

I see no changes to my rankings today.

The MSN search has practically turned into a subdomain search. Type in a keyword and see the top spots filled by different subdomains of the same site.

Yep I have found that for some reason though the uk search has improved though.

It was just the same as the world search couple of days ago(All messed up), but at some point yesterday it has changed again and is give some exellent results now.

So I just hope what ever changes they made yesterday to the uk one gets rolled over into the world search.

I think they are experimenting and just trying to figure the best ALGO's to use it will get sorted soon(I hope).

They carny possably leave it how it is at the min cos it is crazy daft.

From what I've seen so far... the new MSN SERPs are terrible!

It appears as though MSN is placing less value on actual on-page content  and more value on the title tag, keywords in URL, and anchor text of backlinks...

To elaborate on the keywords in the URL, I am seeing many top results that have the keyword in the root domain name, BUT I also see a lot of top results with the keyword in the file name (right term?)...

    i.e. http://www.domain.com/keyword.html

Most of these type of pages that I have seen do not have good content on it - or barely any content at all!

Big re-shuffle in the V-E SERP's (closer to what they were) and a slight drop in number of results ... so I think there was some sort of adjustment, but still pulling in new data ...

Some search terms are now back but some are still gone. I think the shuffle is still ongoing.
