Anyone notice a big diffence in MSN listings lately?

I have always been stong in MSN engine. My pages are well optimized for multiple sites, and I rank very well for competive keywords. I have noticed a big drop in traffic from MSN (to all my sites) in my stats lately.

Does anyone know if their algorityms have changed? I have noticed a huge increase in Ask versus MSN. Do you think the problem may be less traffic to MSN and more to Ask? Haven't checked the latest rankings. Sometimes a re-index does drop a site a little, but all my sites? Plus, my rank still seems to be the same or very close for each of my keywords.

Has anyone else had this decrease in traffic and if so, any ideas as to why?

You mean your rank is the same but traffic has been decreased?

I read on other threads that live has some problems with showing referrer stats.

Yeah, a couple of my sites have been bouncing all around the place. But they seem to recover after a few weeks or so.

I have a feeling that all major sites are trying to run updates in time for the heavy load placed on them for Christmas, so there will be a number of chnages in the pipeline happening across multiple search engines.

my traffic has gone up this last week, from a small dribble to 3* so something has changed and I am happy.
