how many blogs do you have? According to the manual if your site hasn't made it past 5 your site had probably been sandboxed... however one of my my sites went straight to page 30! I've read on the warrior forums that a lot of the times the sites do not get good rankings and they have to build backlinks.... anyone having any luck? It seems the product is more popular on the warrior forums so I thought about posting there but I don't have an account and I think they're closing new ''google sniper'' threads.....
Not sure what Google Sniper is but from the name I guess that it means 'sniping' low competition keywords? If so I wouldn't worry yet - I use the same method and sometimes I go in top 10, sometimes on page 30 as you say. The 'google dance' soon gets you bouncing up and down and doing some basic backlinking should do the job nicely of pushing you up. I just do a couple of article marketing shots out and some profile creation, will work 70-80% of the time (there are always some that don't react no matter what you do, stuill haven't worked out why) make sure on page SEO is all it can be too, header tags etc as to answer the how many question? No idea, at last count 30 or so but been doign a few more since then
Hi thanks for replying. You pretty much got it right. It's just targetting low competition words.... A lot of people here don't know what i mean when I talk of 'sniper sites' so better not use that phrase again. There are two sites that are pretty much like mine (exact pluggins) similar SEO and they are trailing ahead of me by a few spots. One of them has been around since October and his site has 57 inlinks which makes me fee a bit that even his site is on page 30... When you say you do a couple of article marketing shots out and profile creation is that really all you do. So you don't spend whole day building backlinks until it gets to number one?
how good is the keyword? If it is worthwhile then start submitting RSS to a few places and then update the site with a new article every few days. If it is just another keyword then do the basic SEO and see what happens whilst you move on to another site.
It's a good 'buyer keyword' that had over 3000 local searches a month. I don't need rss because I configured two plugins (all ine one seo and google xml sitemap) so automatically when I make a new post the search engines are notified. When I make a new post I also ping it using pingler.... I'll give it a try Nick and keep submitting content and see what happens... for some bizarre reason my site was last crawled on 13th January, even though I have updated it since then and have ben pinging it regularly. The bots are a bit slow aren't they?
To get any site to rank you will need to create backlinks, you may get lucky and hit the front page without any linking but this is a rare occurance.
