anyone making more than 300$/month with ppc?

Hi guys

I'm just curious if this worth bothering with any further. I have couple of dedis hosting online games and gaming related portals. I tried bidvertiser, adsense but its a complete failure. I have like 100K unique visitor/month for 1 server and made like 10$ with bidvertiser in 6 months.
So does it really worth the money to screw up your website's look out with puke ads for this kind of money when you pay 100EURO/month for 1 server?

I'm just curious does anyone makes more than 300$/month with only ppc?

About your games portal - Unfortunately, games sites' ppc is low.

I curious, though - 100k uniques are huge numbers - You should make $100+ / month on Adsense. Have you tested ad placement?

A hint: IMO, if you want to monetise your gaming portal with ppc, your website look has to be screwed in some ways... Some of the biggest game portals, such as Miniclip dot com places ad more sensibly, while others just look like classified ad board with some games in it - LOL

Yes I did variate that, also I tried to put ADs right next to menus so people would click on them by mistake (which is probably I got most of the clicks anyway).

I have 1 top leaderboard, 2 skyscrapers on the left and right mostly on the sites.

 

Why do you need that expensive hosting for just 3,500 uniques a day?
My site has about 12000 uniques a day and I use regular godaddy hosting

 

try using some cpa offers, i think there are a lot gaming related a CJ, i think that works better with your site.

Anyway, 6$ its a complete waste of your website space and look, better get them off even you dont replace them with anything for now.

 

With 100k unique visitors a month you could make quite a living. You need to have the right offers for your audience. PM me your sites and details of how you are getting traffic. I would be glad to make some suggestions for you.

 

I'm making well over $300 a month with PPC. And believe me, there are people earning that A DAY with PPC
But you'll have to be REAL good to rake in that much

 

My suggestion would be to try CPA.

LoL you probably said this without any experience. Why would I make 100$ when the visitors are not interested to click on the ADs.
PPC=Pay Per Click

I do need dedicated servers because I have stat and other programs running in the background which shows online game statistics, server informations on the pages, I need custom php configuration etc but this is hardly the point here to come up with a solution how to lower the hosting costs.

Well seriously with 100k uniques you should be able to make a living off the visitors. Yes I know that every site type is different and types of ads shown will create different click throughs etc.. But most of my friends or people I know that are involved in internet sites that make money through ads such as adsense or general ad revenue are making anywhere from .30 to 1.50 per unique per month. Not sure if I said that right but an example. One guy has about 14k uniques per month and his site makes about 15-20k per month on a regular basis. Another guy is making about 50k per month with about 150k visitors per month.

You should be able to make some kind of decent money with that many visitors

You mean your friend actually makes 50000$/month from ads? What AD companies does he use? Can you pm me his site so I m8 learn from his techniques?

 

The one that is around 50k is using adsense primarily, I believe. Hes got over 200 sites but the one that I know of thats making a killing I believe is just adsense.

I have no idea what his other sites are making but don't think very much, especially when compared to that one. I really can't say what it is. Hard to believe I know, without showing you.

Question for u or anyone else. How much does this site make. I know a couple years ago it was decent but i am pretty sure it has probably grown times 10.

 

Oh how I wish.....Im just gonna keep working it. I'd be happy with 100/ month myself. If I ever hit 300....whewww that would be awesome.

12000 uniques a day?? how can you achieve that?

 

Got some pretty good traffic. You can monetize that and make a lot more that what youre making now.
