Every niche that brings money is saturated by now. :) It does not mean we should stop trying. It just means we need to think creatively and do something no one has done before or put our own twist to it.

As has been said, it's hard to guess about your traffic without knowing the site or at least the specific nature of the content. However you made an interesting point:

Ok, well maybe you need to go look at something different. You might have traffic that monetizes well with Amazon, or maybe you need the kind of program they have over at Linkshare. Monetizing with that takes a different kind of traffic from what Clickbank really needs, and maybe you have it.

The major vendors at Linkshare help add to your site's authority in their own way, and frankly if you're not getting interest in what you can find at clickbank you might give CPA for physical merchants a try before bothering with another E-Product CPA.

I have no idea how, but some people get rich with Amazon Associates, too. If you think physical goods is the way to go then learn how to capitalize on Amazon for hot items and fill your banner spots with things like Petsmart or other physical merchants from Linkshare.

i sell both clickbank and physical. It is about 50/50 for sales. People will pay for informational products...if you make them believe it will work. I have few with clickbank..about 3-6% (except diet niche and IM niche 12-18%) and hardly no returns on physical products...maybe 1 out of 150/200!!!! :)

Now days, i think people have a hard time spending $37 on a 40 page ebook that tells you how to cure acne with crap in your fridge...just my thought. They would rather buy a physical cream or solution for $49 and feel they got something more for their money. it is just a mind game...if i put something on it will work..if i read about it, it will not work type thing.

I have used Amazon in the past. I made 12 sales and earned $11.43 from them. This is a very small amount. They give you like 4% commission until you make 20 sales, and then it goes up to 6% I think. I even had my own aStore as well as banners with descriptions about the products. The only way you can be successful with Amazon is if you get tons of traffic and make lots of sales every day. Small to medium sized website will not make a lot of money from Amazon.

ClickBank update: 25 hops and no sales yet. People are just not clicking these banners much as they do not care right now about dog training. I think I should just forget about this :)

I had a dog site at one time and did pretty good with this http://www.sunshine-4u.com/dog/index.html

Not a huge fan of banner advertisement. You said you had 25 hops but not how many visitors. Banner CTRs are pretty low. Content with a good call to action with a text link will give you the highest CTR.

They have gravity of 12 only. That seems pretty low for a 2 month period. Maybe it sold well in the past, but now in this economy people are not buying as much as they did before.
