It's not so much a call to action...but just a general blog post it's the articles that do all the work, by the time the customer gets to the site they are ready to buy and want to know where they can buy it , what are the options and what are alternatives if it's sold out. I just provide them with convenient links. BTW...didn't mean to hijack this thread!!
there were copies printed and handed over at the Affiliate Summit ... doesn't mean they'll listen though
Hi: Very interesting reads here. I too, make very little from my CJ.com/eBay affiliate site. Tried using Bans in the beginning... but got so disgusted with them - because of the upgrades with no decent templates. From what I have heard - seems they are charging for that now. Decided to build my own html site --- but no real money from that now... probably because it is dedicated to the Real Estate Industry. Was a power seller on eBay off & on since 1998 but when they started doing their DANCES several years ago, my sales dropped dramatically! Unfortunately --- that big drop in sales along with their outrageous fees nearly put me into bankruptcy! All those eBooks & software I purchased that didn't work - were DELETED from my computer because the gurus never taught me a thing. I knew I had to make some really big changes in my online business --- so I quit listing anything on ebay entirely without regrets & have never looked back! I knew I had to change my course of action so I devised & wrote my own business plan in 2 parts based on my own research... I now only use 1 specific marketplace & I run my business 2 unique ways. One way makes alittle bit more money than the other - but both are fantastic & the only way I make money on the internet. I use eBay in an entirely different way --- but it is not by promoting my CJ.com/eBay affiliate site. True... I may have all my eggs in one basket, but I spend only 3 hours on the internet per day & receive daily requests & money by devoting my time to a buyers market only! It is the only plan that works for me & it's what pays the bills & what gives us ALL THOSE EXTRAS! I have never looked back. ALL THE BEST!
Hi SEOLinker: Uh-Oh... did I do something wrong? So Sorry... I am only a Peon - I am new here! ALL THE BEST!

I am making between $2000-4000 a month. My goal is to raise the number to $9000. I use AdWords as my main source of driving traffic to my websites. I have been a CJ affiliate since 2006. This month's stats:
You are doing pretty good yoursef! I have a large dating directory and as you know CJ is filled with dating services ads. However, it's a tricky thing with dating services. I target 3-4 specific ones that I know people like to sign up for. You can spend tons of money with dating services and there will be no sign ups if you drive traffic to just the main page. My other website is about premium website templates, website building and website promotion tools. On it I offer things like free online file storage, get paid for blogging and so forth. So far the majority (I'd say 70%) of the income somes from the leads. I hope there will be more sales in the future so that I could share in that revenue as well. What about you? What are your fav. advertisers if you do not mind sharing.
I hope it will go up. You know I am not a pro in this, but I have learned one thing in the last two years: there are no shortcuts in this or any other similar business. You learn as you go. 45 will become 90 and 90 will become 180 and so on, as you keep pressing on.
