I started with Chitika several months ago when it was plastered all over the forums that this was great money earner... However, didn't expect much in my first month... amd lost about 25% after their audit. Over the next two months... my earnings have steadly gone down with the daily audit Chitika introduced... As of this month... I'm making about a dollar a day... although my impressions have double and I update my site with new content every other day... Would love to hear from others who made the claims that they are earning heaps... how have you faired in 2006... and maybe offer some tips on how you optimised .... thanks
Look at the titles of the next four threads after this one currently. That may give you some idea of where the company and your earnings are going.
It's not a rule that Chitika has to make everyone lots of money. If it doesn't make money for you, move on to greener pastures. Their new category hint preview tool should also reveal what kind of sites it works on best: chitika.com/categories.php It looks as though if your site is not technology related, you shouldn't expect to make much money with them.
YES! even if you don't make anything from the ads, you can make big from referrals. Chitika is paying 10% referrals. I would reccommend signing up! It's great! Click the link in my sig.
True, referrals work much better for me. I ended up pulling the ads from my site because I had better earning options for the space, but my referrals are doing very well for me.
