Ah, but that's the beauty of this business. Given a wireless connection, there's no reason why you couldn't work on the beach :)
Now that's what I would call a hard days work :D:D:D

you would not be able to see the screen cos of the sun, you would be sitting there with a towel over your head and the lappy, and you would look a fool, people would kick sand at you and this would get in the lappy keyboard and jam it, you would not be able to logon to your account cos the 'a' key is stuck and google has no record of an 'jlaaaaaaaaaaaaawreaaaaance' on their records.

You go bust, you burned your bridges when you told your boss 'there's no reason why you couldn't work on the beach' and now you are homeless and printing out signs like 'do you haaaaaaaave any spaaaare caaaash for aaaaaan ex aaaaadsense publisher'

sheez.. some people just don't think aaaaaahead.

Nah, I've got the problem with the screen sussed - I get the same problem here in Plymouth.
You use a cardboard box (on it's side) to sit the laptop in - obviously the sun can't be behind you - it would have the added benefit of keeping some of the sand out of the laptop.
If I could persuade my boss (swmbo) we could live and work where it's sunny then I would. I burned my bridges 3 years ago, when I told my last boss goodbye.
Having worked from home for 3 years, bringing up my son during the day and working evenings, there is absolutely no way I'm going back to working in an office :)

right now my normal per day earnings range from 25 cents to 2.50$. A couple more decimal points and I'll hit the 250 mark.

On a site with 4000 visitors a day I would go on average 35-50 dolars a day.
So mathematically you will need at atleast 25.000 unique users a day.
100.000 unique users is $1000/day and that I call earning.
I know of one person doing 40-$50.000 / Month and one guy doing $70-100.000/Month.
    So everything is possible.
Who wants to know more on how the guy with $100K/Month did this, read the third message from the top on my support forum at:

So from the responces I need to have a few more popular web site earning a little more a day than I do now. This is very possible, just finding the areas avoiding the sandbox and getting trafic.

    Possible... yes
    Going to try... yes

Start with building traffic... focus your efforts on seo and traffic and adsense will come to.

I went over 250 a day in my 2nd week of my 2nd month in Adsense. Was only on 2 websites at the time, one was getting 4-5K uniques a day, other 2-2.5K uniques a day.

I also went over 250 my second month with adsense. It was all about volume for me. Build enough sites with good basic seo principles and they will come....

another words throw enough shit at the wall and some of its bound to stick... ;)

My advice to those who make it to the "retirement" level income... Be sure to diversify your income streams, particularly if you rely heavily on natural search engine traffic. I've seen sites lose 30-40% traffic overnight due to a major search engine changing their algorithm, or even accidentally dropping sites for all sorts of reasons.

The common saying works well here, don't put all your eggs in one basket. Have a few sites all earning decent revenue, then if one drops off, the others can carry you through the slow times.

    Good luck everyone!
