Anyone make up their mind in the voting booth?

    I did on one vote.

I detest the Congressman for my district. Previously I had left the ballot for Congress empty. Today for some reason I voted for one of two alternatives, the Republican running against him. As soon as I left the voting booth I forgot the name of the guy for whom I voted. How dumb.

Simply, as I stood there, somehow at the moment, leaving that particular vote empty didn't feel right.

Admittedly not a good reason to vote for a candidate.

Afterwards I looked him up. "What did I do....and why did I do that?"

Did anyone else make a last minute decision at the voting booth?

    Yes, kind of.

I voted for a Republican recorder of deeds. I was going to vote against him but the fact is I know the guy personally. In fact he sits one cubicle away from me. I know he's a decent and fair guy and is really smart. A fellow former Army officer (hooah!) and just a person you can count on to do the right thing.

I decided at the last moment to vote for him even with that glaring (R) staring at me. :D
