So who do you got out with then, while your friends are tucked up in bed because they have work in the morning? What you have said is a very arrogant statement because you make it sound like its a lower class thing to work and get monthly paycheques. You may be more talented than everyone else because you have your own business but it doesn't make you better than them. Don't get me wrong i'm not a person to be settled on 25k for the rest of my life, i have ambitions like yourself, and i admire the dedication you have put in. But at the end of the day, if you enjoy your job, your life then money doesn't matter! Im sure there are billions of happy people out there on 15k a year but do their job because of the satisfaction they get out of it. So please don't put people down just because you are more successful than them, especially when you don't even know them and what motivates them through life. Jazz
what an interesting thread here, well i hope there are some people who earned that can share with us I'm hoping I can make that money too....
Ash well, it wouldn’t bother me a bit to earn 1 million dollars a year but that is not one of my goals in life. Nevertheless, congrats on those who have succeeded in that way, I hope you keep sharing your tips with the ones who are trying to achieve such a goal.
He's not putting anyone down, when you consider the fact that it is safe to assume that most people earning 15k a year would much rather earn more but cannot due to factors they can and cannot control. I.E. laziness, kids, time etc. Everyone wants to be earning big money, that is a fact, everyone needs and wants more money because it determines in most case the quality of your life. Sure guys that look like Brad Pitt or whatever can lead amazing lives because they are getting laid all the time, and get breaks, but average Joe Mac on the street has to work harder, and needs money to make their lives better, that's just how it is in the world. It's okay to adopt the thinking that if a person is downright too lazy or unmotivated to strive to earn a lot of money (both for security and a rich, fufilling life) then they are wasting their lives, because if they had more then they wouldn't be bitching about their money, about the checks that they have to wait for every Monday after a weekend of partying. If my friends are too lazy and bitch and moan then I look down on them, in the same way a Father looks down on a drug addict son, one of disappointment. You work hard, you do what this guy has obviously done, then you're going to splurge some money, and there's nothing wrong with that, and there's nothing wrong with being happy that you don't have to wait on a check because you are too much of a bum to go make that money that you deserve. We have all been handed brains to use in this world, and a lot of people don't use them when they could, to maximise their lifestyles and enjoy their lives more. Partying every weekend and being broke the rest of the week is no way to live, if you're struggling. Money rules, that's just the way it is.
It is certainly not impossible. I worked for as a business consultant to an online pharmacy that made 4 million a month...until it was shut down by the Govt, he'll be in prison for 25 years for not having the doctors actually see the patients - they issued the Rx via the internet.
Uuno Knows Best! I make 10$ a month officially, but in fact i make about 1000 x more than that! Uuno Turhapuro (Finnish Double agent, Bum & Filmstar)
I made that kind of money Just with my four Free Directory sites www.dotrig.com (Free Directory) www.ayhu.com (Free Directory) www.desilinkdirectory.com (Free Directory) www.OneBigTravel.com (Free Directory) And I am not sure what happened I woke up -- Oh and I made that money in my dream. Hope that dream come true. Thanks for finding a good number to dream.
£1,000,000 per year? How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. So you start with what is in front of you, and eventually you will have eaten a leg. then set your next goal, and eat another leg. The second leg will be easier because you now know you CAN eat a leg as you have done it already. Repeat until eventually the elephant will have been eaten. What I am saying is that to succeed you MUST: Set Goals that are attainable short medium and long term. PLAN a route that will get you where you want to be, including projsects that will do it. put into action your first project evaluate Hit your goals short term, if not why not? re-evaluate. Hit your first target Evaluate EVERYTHING. What you have done, how can you improve it? what REALLY worked that you can carry forward? what did you try to do yourself that cost excessive time? can you outsource this safely? Next project Repeat until the elephant is but a memory. Making money online is about constant evaluation and re-evaluation , to ensure your time is optimised best, and you are completing your projects to a high standard within the set timescale. This is the slightly longer answer to my earlier post of 'work smart AND hard'
Totally agree with both of you. I just remembered this quote by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow 'The heights by great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight, but they while their companions slept, were toiling upward in the night.' That's what I believe in and surely, theres light at the end of the tunnel
The more you have, the more you make. Strategies change.. and before you know it, the ballpark has sprung to life in ways you didn't anticipate. I suspect the game changes a little over time and you learn to let other people do the work.. don't be afraid to let others marshal your vision for you. And have FUN ! - you'll be closer to your audience than you might think Cheers, JL
