You will get nowhere by expecting to be spoon fed, you have to just be fearless and do the things that the vast majority are not doing. If you copy others hoping to cash in off their empire, you will fail most times, you have to be innovative and creative, then go through several hit and miss actions, finally stumbling onto something that will generate more revenue then you ever dreamed possible, the only thing standing inbetween you and huge financial success is the will to try something completly different from the norm, perhaps a fear that is brought on by lack of creativity or simple fear of failure. On the odd occasion, it is moral blocks, thinking that you do not want to lower your "standards" to market a certain way, the multi millionaires of the internet count on your moral judgement getting in the way of your actions, so they can remain the top bread earners as long as you are out of the picture. Once you set yourself on a path to success and eliminate all the reasons of why you should not do things a certain way, then your new outlook will surely reap you those rewards that you have always wanted.
Listen to TorrentGuy. He seems to know what he's talking about. To make your 1st million take lots and lots of time and dedication (after you have a decent amount of money it's much easier to turn it into more money). I often work 14+ hours a day, but I love what I do . BTW, there are at least a handful of members here that make well over $1M a year. People that make that sort of money tend to keep it to themselves.
Before you make a million, you have to make $50k, $100k, $200k... get my drift? You don't need to wait for a millionaire to give up his/her secrets... they won't by the way. You're better off networking with the folks who are into it full time and making a decent living. Soak in their hints, tips and experiences since it obviously is working... then work like mad to put it all together. Eventually you'll get to where you want to be. Pete
I agree, once the ball is rolling you could invest in bigger projects like new money making businesses, real estate, etc. The beginning is always the hardest part Didier
I agree. I am sure there are some big earners on this forum. Just because you're making 1mill or more a year doesn't mean you don't like to talk and discuss what you're good at
Making £1,000,000 in property in the UK is easy. In the area where I live, property went up in price double in the last 3 years.
Yea, very true words. If I was earning over 1million I would try and stay true to my roots. Like keep posting on DP and stuff.
I'll let you know in a couple of years what it's like to be a millionaire. BTW I will keep posting on DP til I die. I wonder what my post count will be then? 853,000?? Col
THAT was the point I was making. People say 'don't work hard work smart' which is a load of crap and is something put about by people who sell ebooks on the back of it. My post was to tear down the misaprehension that people who earn this sort of money do not work hard THEY DO! The second saying, making your second million is easier, is also true, because once you have finances behind you, you can move faster. You do not need loan approval for projects, you can employ people to carry out tasks (either employed or sub contracting). it is MUCH easier to make money once you have it, and as such you do not have to do the grunt work any longer, allowing you to oversee multiple projects rather than totally control one. I must be dumb though as i do not see the difference between work smart AND hard, and your correction of 'work HARD but Smart'? what am I missing? BOTH statements say the same. People making 7 figures work hard and smart.
