Not bad at all for a tech type product. You can see on the screen shot 10 out of 181, which is a little over 5%.
Got a reply from him. Guess he is out of town. "thanks for the heads up. I'm out of town right now and using my iPhone to reply to this. I'll be back home Sunday and will take care of this."
Sorry guys been away on a short vacation, my customer support team has special instructions to forward affiliate emails to me but since I've been away I haven't had a chance to reply. To anyone that needs to get a hold of me please pm and I will gladly provide you with my direct email. So you may get a hold of me for any future questions or concerns.
Good to see you back. Here is the question about the refund rate ? Someone mentioned about high refund rate. can you explain or post screenshots otherwise ?
prepare yourself for a high refund rate..I don't know if this is the average refund rate for this niche, but I surely don't like a 20% refund rate Will try with a new product..
Yeah, I already had the landing page built and articles written so I figured I would go ahead with it and see what happens. If I get a high refund rate too, I'll just redo everything but I would rather wait and see first. How long were you promoting his product and how many refunds did you get compared to the number of sales? Was it like 2-3 refunds out of 8 sales or did you have a much higher volume than that?
try for yourself, maybe I am doing something wrong, though the conversions are ok, but the refunds high. A much higher volume than that..I wouldnt have mentioned that number with a few sales
Ok, just making sure. Look at how many people come on here and complain about their conversion rates and then you find out they only sent 150 hops to the sales page....I just wanted to be sure you did do a higher volume of sales to come to the conclusion that the refund rate was high. Thanks for the info.
I know, that wasn't what I was trying to say... I meant that you can't always take people's word for what they say on here and I used that as an example. People might give a vendor a bad name saying they have bad conversion rates when really they only sent 100 clicks to the page or so. Similarly, I wasn't sure how many sales you actually made to come to the conclusion that the refund rate was high. It could have been 2 refunds out of 8-9 sales which isn't a high enough number to really go off of. But you answered my question so it's all good.
yes, what you say makes perfect sense, though is not the case here this vendor has some issues, one big problem, that he said he will fix.. 3 days later, he didn't and didn't reply to my last messages..probably he makes too much money already to care for each affiliate
Yeah I wish he would respond to this thread already, he obviously saw there was an issue when he posted before and now he's gone again....
He's probably not responding because he's too busy enjoying the 60k he just made selling his 360 RRoD site... http://flippa.com/auctions/84273/Established-2-Year-Click-Bank-Business-6863-87-Avg-Monthly-Profit
That is interesting - I saw this product and decided to promote it by PPC ads but I have a feeling google are not liking something on there as first it was pending review as normal and now I have 'under review' - further investigations required for the last day or 2 so still waiting on it to run. Any advice on why you think this may be? Looks a good product so maybe I'll try promoting elsewhere if the PPC doesn't get off the ground.
Weird since there is still a fair amount of life for that niche, not sure if I would pay 12x revenue tho its a bit of a gamble.
