Anyone knows about cyber laws in India ?

Just wanted to know more about it. If someone copies my website or any information on it like the site design and template or any text /articles, and publishes it on another site, then can i file a legal suit against him ????

does it really work ??? why will a webhost go against their own client. ??

 

Because his client is doing wrong activities like copying, or using someone else content, any other thig against their TOS.I have emailed many hosts of copycats and iam almost sucessfull in getting the copycats website removed.

the laws are pretty much similar to the USA - but good luck enforcing them.

 

Are u sure about laws in india..... i never heard of any such case in india, and i doubt whether any lawyer or judge will be comfortable dealing with internet matters or not ????

 

There might be some law in INDIA that punishes copy cats we hav to find out for which we have to contact some media publicity companies coz.....web & theirs is almost same.....
