Gniuz - great response, super helpful for the rest of us Ok, so far, this is what I have gotten as to why one would rank a lot better in Google and get alnost nothing in Yahoo: Title and header and content's keywords cannot match exxactly, else Yahoo penalizes. So if your keyword is "orange bananas in South America" and that's your title, then your first Header ought to be something like "South American Bananas" and the next header may be "Orange and Yellow Bananas" and the content different but related again. Also, shear link count wins in the end regarding Yahoo. So if you use LV or Coop or farms, or whatever, the more links the better in Yahoo. Anything Else?
Hmmm...I suppose. But I don't think so. In fact, I'm having the same problem as well. I'm #1 on MSN. I finally hit top 7 on G after almost a year. But I'm nowhere to be found on Yahoo. Please note that I hit #1 on Yahoo after 7 weeks with my site/blog. But now I'm nowhere to be seen. ??? Hmmm...that can't be it though because Google's algo factors in backlinks alot too. And if that's the case, then why do I rank high on G but not on Y? More questions than answers
Thats the same problem to my site.. I think yahoo search engine not just doing math in their algorithm but they uses also a person who reviews sites..
