I am completely stumped so I would love to hear others feedback on why this is happening. I have a site which thousands have been invested in. There are over 5000 related backlinks on Google webmaster tools, yet Google is ranking it below "low" on the results, in fact, if you type in the name of my site and URL "credit card forum" on Google, go look on the results and take a look at where it's at.... bottom of second page. Take a look at what is above it in results and you will see Google is giving me zero weight for these keywords. http://tinyurl.com/ Do any of you SEO gurus know why this might be happening? Thanks

There is a third page result and that is for one of your sub forums/pages..So what are the other keywords you are doing for ??
You can start by removing the duplicate content. creditcardforum (dot) com PR 4 cached on 11/8 creditcardforum (dot) /index.php PR 0 cached on 10/31
@coloriteman I asked shellyreynolds about keywords because when I checked they were not second. Serps are shifty my site has been moving around in the past week or so.
try adding more category posts.... and try creating some new topic threads that are keyword optimized... and most importantly ...add more descriptive content on your home page! your site lacks original content.
LOL how can you say my site lacks original content? THE ENTIRE SITE IS ORIGINAL CONTENT! Every single post, page, review, and any thing else. There are thousands of pages, hundreds alone that have 500+ words of original content and PR. To say I need original content doesn't really make sense when that's all I have and there is plenty of it for sure. As far as topic threads and post that are keyword optimized... I do have many of those, and those do get good SE traffic. However, that is the only thing getting traffic on the site. The internal pages get traffic, but for some reason my homepage doesn't. My other keywords are "credit card reviews" and "credit card message board" for the homepage. There are a few niche phrases linked to the homepage too but I don't really care about those. Basically what I'm stumped on is why Google doesn't link to my homepage for "credit card forum" etc when there are thousands of links using that as their anchor text. This is why my site gets #1 or #2 on MSN and Yahoo for these phrases but #40 on Google with virtually any site that remotely has those three words on it above mine.
