    I think it's based on traffic the last 3 months, so your ranking went from 1.7 mil to 2?

    Alexa doesn't mean anything until you start getting 1000's of daily visitors for a long period of time. And even then, it's not accurate. Thier arbitrary rankings of millions of small sites doesn't do anything for you at all.

    Alexa ranking are based on visits to you site, backlinks and of course content and are superior to Google page ranks and the like, I found one of my sites ranking was increasing even thuogh I was posting and adding backlinks on a daily basis so I asked a friend to look at my site and he suggested that I remove the keyword "make Money" along with the contents about making money and hey presto the ranking are once again falling and I am getting more traffic.

    It would seem that if you run your business in a professional way with the aim to becoming an authortive site you will do much better than the millions of people pushing mlm and affliate sites.
