Typical Yahoo. Why not stick with Google? They were the first to truly share with webmasters, and I think they deserve credit for that. Goto / Overture was around for YEARS with their sleazy "we take the dollar, you take the penny" deal. Yahoo was busy raking in the bucks with their sleazy directory ($199 per year, please, and no guarantees!) while MSN was playing their own dirty tricks (as seen in court). I'm quite happy to reward Google for single-handedly changing a nasty, greedy industry into one that spreads the wealth!
Davert you are an ingnorant moron. YPN is amazing, on some days I would make 10 times what I made with Adsense. Adsense just doesn't match up anymore and they will fall behind. Even MSN is working on their own version of Adsense.
I have applied to YPN twice now. My sites get around 100,000+ uniques a month but I have still not been accepted.I live in Canada. Armin
Armin you have to be in the United States to be accepted. You obviously did not read their TOS when you agreed to them.
I applied for an account, and in that application I stated that I live in Canada. They said my application was approved, but they won't send checks to anyone without an American ssn. Traffic / amount of money you're bringing in doesn't seem to matter to them, they will not send checks to Canada. I'm bringing in high xx,xxx.xx since joining YPN, and they just don't care. You'll just have to wait for them to announce that they are going international, which probably won't be for at least a year...
