I remember seeing a really neat menu script. The thing is I can't remember what site I saw it on. I think it was based on css and javascript which made an image in the background follow the mouse when hovered over the menu and that image would expand to meat the size of the text it was behind. I'm not too sure how to explain it in more detail but I was hoping someone would have a clue as to what I am talking about and could direct me to the site where I can get the code from. I am working on a new design and I think this would be a great addition. Thanks for the help
The best menu system I've found is the Suckerfish menus. It doesn't have the expanding image (that I know of) but it might be a good place to start.
thanks for the help but I am specifically trying to find a menu without the drop down effect that does what I am trying to explain. I remember seeing it on at least two sites, I believe one of them explained the code but I can't find it anywhere. I am dead set on finding it and would appreciate any further help. Here is a bit more of explanation. Hopefully it will help someone realize what I am talking about. The text is all static It is not a drop down menu but a simple horizontal menu when you hover over a menu item, the menu item is highlighted with a background image the background image follows the mouse and expands as it hovers over to the next menu item while following the mouse. anyone have an idea what I am talking about?
haha I found it!!! here's a link for anyone else that's interested in knowing what I was talking about http://gmarwaha.com/blog/?cat=8
