Does anyone know why when I start google earth all the landscapes and everything is black.

I basically can't see buildings, hills, color, etc.

Anyone know what I should do to make it normal?

Everytime I install it, it's been like that.

I want to just be able to look at different places. I downloaded it off google's own page and installed it multiple times to make sure it's done right.

Basically, everything is black. You can't see buildings, lands, parks, anythings, etc. All you can see is names of places and that's it.

Anyone know what I have to turn "on" or "off" in the layers area? (Maybe that's the problem?)

Did you look at the link I posted? It really sounds like a DirectX/OpenGL problem. Try that and let us know what happens.
