Anyone know how to promote a new site about astrology?
do you have any experience about this kind of site?

 

just do a search for astrology forums, theres got to be dozens and start marketing. You can also do social networking site, or google Adwords for your site.

 

Run a Google blog search for astrology and start leaving insightful comments with a link back to your site. If don't spam and have a good site, you will begin to get traffic. You can also search astrology on Twitter and follow people that are into astrology.

 

You can use the same tactics you would use for any other site that are discussed on here, however I would think astrology would be a pretty competitive topic. It may take a while to get yourself up and running.

 

That is a tough demographic that is likely best dealt with using viral techniques along with the standard SEO and internet marketing.

That is just an example of course but you should develop a widget of sorts and distribute that along with standard copy related materials.

there are many marketing tips that are there online both free and paid ones just google "internet marketing tips" or " web traffic tips"

The fellow in that link though, wanted $2000 to "dramatically increase your website traffic".

 

Correct, he does a wide range of things from developing a little game for the site if applicable, quizzes, etc.

It is well worth it. You can tackle said demographic with a realistic budget or someone can spend a year doing monkey work. Its that simple.
