Hey Folks, I've been getting a bunch of low-paying clicks I suspect are coming from everesttech.com. I've tried to block the domain in my Competitive Ad Filter, to no avail. Is there a trick to blocking these ads? I've tried: everesttech.com pixel11466.everesttech.com Nothing works. I've never had this problem before and I wonder how everesttech gets around the Competitive Ad Filter??? Cheers
That's weird. Their ads would have been blocked if you add their domains in your CAF list. Perhaps they are not really using that domains. Perhaps they use redirects. There some online tools that you can use to check that. I have forgotten their links though. Maybe somebody else here can help you on this.
Adsense blocked any domains you put into the filter, so they must be redirecting. Only answer that makes sense. Find one of their ads somewhere, click on it, and see if there is a redirect going on.
Thanks guys, I use the AdSense Preview tool to get the URL their ads use. It looks like this: http://pixel1466.everesttech.net/1466/r/3/e46efd85ac868aa57b285c3536b3c3ab_677830463/url=http%3A//www.realtor.com/vacation-rentals/North-Carolina.htm I've blocked many AdSense advertisers from my site, but these guys are unblockable... Cheers
many publishers learned the tricks and use some kind of redirection so it's almost impossible to block them. You can find a good website that track those domains at: http://simply-adsense.com/blog/tips-and-tricks/filter-low-paying-websites-from-your-adsense-ads/
Hmmm that is strange, you could possibly try emailing the google adsense team they tend to be very helpful
