    I wanted to buy a few things from the site, but international shipping is like $60USD for a $15 item.

    Anyone have experience with it and know about some cheaper shipping method?

    Well, I mean I thought this site is only used with Chinese, because most of good only support to deliver in China, the post fee is only about $3.

    Taobao is a shopping platform in China. I think the shipping cost is too high. You may try to purchase the product from other shopping platforms, such as ebay or amazon.

    Taobao is only available in China(mainland). The shipping is not as expensive as you said. Usually about 2-3 $ to all over the country.
    If you want to buy products from china, you can use aliexpress. Most of the products are free shipping. Introduce you my aliexpress store to you here: :)

    If you are in China or want any products to send anyone in China, only then this site is useful, my friend. Because this site is restricted and works only inside China :)
    If you wanna buy some products to send them internationally, you will have to go to ebay.com or the ebay hongkong site

    I did purchase something from taobao too.
    I dont have alipay and therefore i use taobao service provide. If not mistaken, they charge about 15~20% for the shipping and service cost. If the item is $15, they charge $3 for the shipping, mean you gotta pay only $18

    cheaper shipping method is the air mail,
    A lot of buy from china online site taobao ,that is interesting ,I have found the taobao buy guide and shipping method ,if the item is below 2kg,the air mail is the best cheaper shipping method ship to most country.
