anyone know anything about making fansites???? im thinking of creating a fansite for *person* and i want help with anything anyone could possibly help me with! so yeah from domains and webhosting..to adsense..so any help would be great!!!
Key points to keep i mind 1. domain must have celebrity's name on it 2. Theme revolves around celebrity (so header design of course) and.. they usually have monochromatic color schemes 3. A bio, filmography, gallery is a must. 4. Adsense blending must not have images neat it.. but should have good colors that match the template exactly.
Photos, a bio, and a message board should be included. If it's a celebrity type site then you need photos. I would think that is #1 to include. If you're making a website for a band or something a message board is big. It creates a community and actually can keep people coming back. Make sure you blend your ads into the site and don't overload it with ads. It will turn people off.
find a random fansite and see what they have and how they made their site. just dont break the copyright law webhosting: surpasshosting.com is cheap
Hosting asmallorange.com are good if you're new to stuff. They've got a helpful support team and you can get pretty cheap hosting. They let you pay with paypal as well if you need that. Domains You definately need a domain. Make sure that the persons name is in the domain. namecheap.com oare good for domains. $8.88 per domain and they accept paypal like ASO.
