    I disagree with Toon-C. Social bookmarking is dead. Unless you have massive resources to get a ridiculous amount of bookmarks, you have no fighting chance. There's just too much manipulation those sites. That's why Google doesn't value their links as much anymore.

    and I agree with you...Twitter is worthless. It's just a follower popularity contest. I have done a few test to see how many actually read Tweets. The numbers are borderline worthless.

    put good content on you site. link exchange with good relevant sits ..also you can do social bookmarking and yahoo answer .

    i agree with you 2 , the only way to get traffic these days is permanent updating your website with fresh new content , and build relevant backlinks for your site.

    If its just for your stats there are places where you can buy traffic that works. you pay $x for y customers. Its only temporary though and the people visiting wont buy anything from your site.
