    Hey guys,

Does anyone know a program i can use to build a website with HTML, CSS, Java, etc.
One that i can code in and i can see the results of the code in the program instead of using my browser.

    Many Thanks!

Yes, technically. However the website will be very basic.

What type of site do you want to build? And why do you want to be able to run it in the development tool rather than through a browser? There are so many bugs in how browsers interpret css rules, you really need to use one for testing.

Dreamweaver will allow you to create custom page templates and flesh out the basics of the website. The content area is where the magic is. This is the posting section that allows the client to add html, video, images and other content to their website. This allows you to create a great functional website without the customer breaking it later. :-P Let me know if you have any other questions. Good Luck!

Dreamweaver is excellent. If you are a student you can subscribe to the creative cloud and get the entire suite for a low monthly rate. That's what I use for all of my web design.

If your looking to create an Ecommerce site your best bet would be Volusion, Magento or Zencart

Like Jeffrey Witt said, the best website creators are Wordpress and Wix. I've had experience with all of these except for Zencart.

If you are developing your website for first time. Try searching in google for free website builder. You will get wix, weebly and similar site building tools.

Also you can use wordpress cms with themes freely available on wordpress directory and create your basic site.

If you want something cheaper than Dreamviewer, or actually free: I strongly recommend the new program "Brackets". It's developed and maintained by Adobe.

They have something they call "Live Preview", it works flawlessly but only in Google Chrome. Just leave a browser window beside the editor itself and the program handles the rest. Your CSS changes updates in real-time. Your HTML and JavaScript files automatically reloads in the browser window when you save them.

You can find it here: http://download.brackets.io/

If you MUST create web page files, etc., there's Dreamweaver. There are also free HTML WYSIWYG editors like Kompozer and CoffeeCup (never tried the latter). You might want to try those first if you don't want a huge and advanced program like Dreamweaver.

    Kompozer: http://www.kompozer.net/
    CoffeeCup: http://www.coffeecup.com/free-editor/
    Dreamweaver: http://www.adobe.com/products/dreamweaver.html

    More: http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-html-editor.htm

Never used Java (I hate it) so I don't know how well they handle that.

But I agree with nikipink. You can install the Wordpress package on your web host and build websites that way. Wordpress makes a good content management system. As your site grows, you'll find it's easier to manage content with Wordpress than if you simply uploaded a bunch of HTML files to your site. You can make site-wide changes in a pinch. There are a TON of free and premium themes (including the aforementioned Suffusion) and plugins for Wordpress and a HUGE community of users.

    Good luck!

I also recommend Dreamweaver for beginners. I stepped away from it now that I'm an expert programmer and I now use an IDE, PHPStorm by JetBrains.
