Yeah, we (GeoRiot) help websites (and app developers) of all sizes make money with the iTunes / App Store Affiliate Program. There are a couple things to note with this program though.

1.) You earn commissions on all sales over 72 hours which is nice (Amazon is only 24 hours) as people tend to be in and out of the iTunes store every couple days or so.
2.) There are actually 45 country specific iTunes / App Store Affiliate Programs (there are 9 Amazon Associates Programs) and you need to make sure you match an international user to their local store and use the local affiliate program to earn commissions from that sale.

A lot of people miss this second point and as a result leave a lot of possible commissions on the table. Ping me at GeoRiot if you want to discuss the iTunes / App Store Affiliate Program further.

Yes you can. As well as on Twitter, YouTube, etc.

However, when you sign up for an account you have to have your own, unique website. Using a facebook URL when you apply to the program will likely result in not getting in.
