Yeah I gotta get back in the habit. It's quite difficult to force myself to go though.

    Yep.

    Post your stats guys!

18 years old, 145 lbs, lifting for 1 month (previously lifted for 4 months last year).

    Bench: 135
    Squat: 215
    Deadlift: 265

Lifting 3 times a week, MWF. Looking for strength gains (powerlifting) as opposed to bodybuilding.

    Whey, creatine. I own you.

You should wait with the creatine, your body will gain enough strenght on his own when you just started lifting. Better invest the money in some protein.

    I myself LIVE FOR IT!

Tim I'm only lifting once per day ATM and taking Saturday and Sunday off. Now you gave me a complex, I better hit the gym a bit more!!!

    :D

Stats, I don't really max out.
    6'3" 230-240 lbs
Bench easily 325 or so even with my injured shoulder. If the shoulder would ever heal I'm confident I'd be in the 400+ range pretty damn quick.

anon is big into lifting, so is 'big doug' he makes me look like a mouse.. :p

One of these days if I ever have a spotter I'll have to trully max, I have yet to have a spotter when I lift. My max's are done by myself with weights I know I can handle w/o problems for safety.

Yup. I get up almost every morning and immediately begin the "up ... down ... up ... down." Then I open the other eyelid.

    Eyelids, GRIM, eyelids.

But seriously, until recently I visited the gym two times, sometimes three times, a week to lift. I'm told that resistance training at my age (63) is very important to increase agility and to strengthen our weakening bones. Both those factors are important in preventing injuries by falling among older folks. I intend to get back into weight training after this vacation we are on.

If you talking about me, no I dont use creatine. I use whey protein. Whey protein is probably one of the if not the best legal
supplements that one can take. Most bodybuilders agree on this. Basically since getting to college Ive just upted my daily protein intake a bunchload and its working good. If you want me to go into greater details I would be glad to help. I love talking about weightlifting its so much fun. Take care
