If contents are too technical such as how to build a rocket or define nuclear in Chinese, I may not up to it at the moment. What niche are you interested in?
How much would you charge to do 5 rewrites of articles on one of my sites (topic is SEO). Not necessarily literal translations. More like articles based on the pages I give you, with a higher emphasis on making sense in your language that in being an accurate translation. each article is about 500 words long.

Rewrite from English to Chinese or Chinese to Chinese? based on your post it seem like a rewrite from English to Chinese. As for charging, I really have no idea, but i am looking at 500 chinese characters per article for USD$2.50. but based on my experience, a 500 english words article usually is translate or express with approx. 800-1000 chinese characters. any more info i can provide?
