Careful. You might be next on my ignore list with comments like that. It is so great not having to read Minstrel's stuff that I may use the ignore list much more frequently.

I think I have more than 30, but less than 50 in my ignore list.
The ignore list makes the threads look a lot cleaner.

On all the other forums I visit I have a total of 2 people on the ignore lists! But other forums have a staff of moderators dealing with flame wars, abusive people, hate posts etc. It could be a smart move to start moderating the forums here also.

I agree with Fryman on this. The beauty and attraction of this forum has always been the absense of Moderators. Moderators can kill a forum. In fact that's why I don't regularly read or use any other forum but this one.

 

If we start moderating, the vibe will die. I prefer the battles over having to worry if what I say will offend some dickhead who @$$-kissed himself into a position that's going to his head
