I can't give you any advice on whether to enter a niche or not, since it depends mainly on you and your skills.
The one thing I can tell you about this niche (as an outsider, I'm not in it) is that it's highly competitive with very skeptical people. Unless you're marketing to complete and total newbies, you're going to work hard to convince people why the product you recommend is the best. And that's even before talking about the competition.

If you are a good copywriter, you have good English, and you know how to gain exposure and traffic, you can give this niche a shot. If not, you can still give it a shot, but it'll be somewhat harder for you (not impossible, there are lots of proven buyers in this niche).

    Good luck!

Usually if you are new to Internet marketing, advanced marketers don't recommend to start off in make-money niche....I would agree with that.

I still mess around in this niche and have been in it for 9 years.

Yes it can be lucrative if you are the first to advertise for a new product.

There are many more ways to market this niche than others but the refunds from my experience are a little higher.

Remember one thing: Every niche is profitable.

Those words were taken from Jeremy Palmer himself if you don't trust my words alone.

The IM niche is very profitable, it just depends on your persistence.

Much easier to do well with the IM niche when you have a responsive list. there are so many "how to make money" guides out there that skepticism is warranted.

I however can not escape it as it is my favorite niche. You can check out my signature to see my product that is in the niche.

Hell, I started out in the web hosting business, which you may find just as if not more fierce than make money. That was a while back when the competition wasn't so fierce. but the main reason I went into that market, was because I found it so hard to choose a host. So I thought that I could help people with my experience. But if you must go in this direction now, i would start out with yahoo search marketing and find those lost keywords!

Try to start with building a list first.

Alternatively, you can try to promote your pdt or service to us first. We are also IMers. If you can convince one of us to buy, you can convince anyone.

If you're a successful internet marketer then it is a great market to be in - it's much easier to convince others to buy money making products if you're making money yourself. If you're new to this market then don't bother - it's hugely competitive.
