I'm willing to bet that the plethora of non-disclosure agreements will prevent any of the responses you're looking for Good luck however!
Lets start with the elephant in the room I love Google and all, but: "Big Daddy. Seriously, what were you guys thinking?"
I don't think they were thinking, I think they took suggestions from some guys at webmaster world ... hehe
Matt Cutts who works for Google joined recently, but I think he may have been scared off by the "is this really him" thread.
I'd bet that there are quite a few DP forum members who are Google employees. But why would they want to be bugged 24/7 by people asking them questions.
yea louiecorp The second site in my sig is actually a site a friend of mine owns, who works for google edit he told me that if you click on the red link you SERPs will rise automatically also edit2 wow... he called me right now on the phone.. And told me some of you, who clicked on the red link, will be in top10 within 10 days (if right now of the 15th page) Also told me that if you click on the ads there - you'll be in the top5 for your main keywords (if you are bellow top5)
Yeah. Too bad the thread had to turn gay. Not that matt would say anything here he wouldn't blog about, but the idea (kinda like googleguy) that he was here to at least give some advice (no matter how vague) was nice.
Ja, and when Pam Anderson or Keanu Reeves walk into your office you're going to carry on as usual face it, he's a big time celeb for us desperados, and he should be wary... I'm just rather surprised he signed up so transparenty - apparently...
I'll give it a try! I'd like my site to be #1 for "Daniel Malone". Can you do this? BTW, I almost accidently clicked on an ad. Before the images load, the page is a little bit wider. I was pressing down my mouse on something when the images loaded, and an AdSense ad appeared right under my mouse. I just held down my mouse, and moved it away. I didn't click on the ad.
What happened to Adam "Bad Data Push" Lasnik did he give up to? Must be busy cleaning the servers of useful sites to make room for some more redirected subdomain spam.
It is called respect and self control. Sure one might be excited, but one should still exercise restraint and it should be a lot easier to do when one has the time to read and formulate responses. There was no excuse for the childish behavior of some in that thread. We had a great opportunity to have a dialogue with someone inside the "black box" and some individuals blew it for all of us. I'm not saying we should worship the ground he walks on or worship every word he speaks, but we shouldn't attack him or bombard him with every petty problem either.
Here is MR.Google Himself Does more asking than telling though http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=1162015&postcount=1 Hope this made you laugh
