Anyone here who have big forum websites and earning good income in adense?

    I know that click conversion rate in a forum is very low but we all know that a forum gets more page load and might lead to high cpm especially in big forums like dp. I'm just curious if someone here owns a big forum community website that's earning good income from adsense's cpm?

    We host a number of large forums. Most if not all of them use cj.com and pick and choose their advertisers. Many have tried using adsense previously and the numbers just aren't there.

    It seems like his stat is fake and how the hell where you get 1000+ registration daily on a 7 days old website with aThreads: 5,035, Posts: 58,507, Members: 14,960 ? LOL. He said that's all hardwork but I doubt it. Unless he bought a large forum and transfer all the database to his database.


    Any other website owner here who have big forums community who can share their stories?

    from what i saw he had just changed hosting/type of forums. I don't think it was brand new. but anyways thats the best I can help with sorry =(

    I dont know what you consider "big", but my forum gets around 30,000 - 50,000 pv's a day - around a year ago (when adsense was paying much better) it was generating around $3k/month.. these days it's closer to $1k-$2k/month.. But, when i combine Adsense w/Kontera that nearly doubles the earnings.. on some days Kontera earns more than Adsense..

    if your forum has a huge traffic..that may let your earn big..

    Don't forget most of the times forum members get ad blindness and only come to the forum to contribute. I hardley ever click on the ads here on DP forum. Mostly the banner ad's i click on since the banner ad is eye catching and interests me.

    Tearabite, i can see why you earned that much with the amount of traffic the forum recieved. Don't always count on adsense for money. With Kontera, you always have a second income stream which helps.

    Hmm actually I'm more interested on adsense cpm alone.. If you can give us an estimate how much do you think you earn from adsense cpm in a month with 50k pv's a day in one month?
